Peppers (Capsicum annuum) are among the most popular vegetables worldwide, yet their breeding still relies heavily on traditional methods. Although seed
companies have invested decades in developing germplasm and elite lines, they often face genetic bottlenecks that limit further improvement and hinder the
successful commercialization of new varieties.

To overcome these challenges, we developed PepGEM™ (Pepper Gene Editing and Modification) — a powerful, proprietary platform that brings
advanced molecular breeding to both hot and sweet peppers. PepGEM™ enables the precise, efficient introduction of multiple traits—whether recessive or
dominant—dramatically accelerating the development of novel elite varieties in both speed and cost-effectiveness. The platform supports gene editing and
genetic engineering, and also serves as a powerful tool for trait discovery. 

By integrating AI-driven bioinformatics with deep expertise in plant science, genetic engineering, gene editing, and molecular biology, we are redefining the
future of pepper breeding. In close collaboration with seed company breeders, we unlock the full potential of elite germplasm and deliver breakthrough varieties
tailored to the demands of a rapidly evolving market.

Dr. Oded Skaliter
Co-Founder & CTO

Holds a PhD in Plant Science from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem, with over a decade of experience in genome editing of plants such as peppers, tomatoes, and petunia. His work has advanced breeding tools and improved crop traits through molecular innovation.

Dr. Oded Sagee
Co-founder & CEO

Holds a PhD in Plant Physiology from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem, with over three decades of experience founding and leading agtech companies from concept to market, including successful commercialization of biotech solutions in Israel and abroad.

Prof. Alexander Vainstein
Co-founder & CSO

A Professor at The Hebrew University of Jerusalem. Former head of department of Plant sciences and genetics. A leading researcher of plant metabolic engineering of various recalcitrant crops with 30+ years experience. Over a hundred publications and patents.
